I am an entrepreneurial-minded engineer with 10 years of professional experience in hardware and software development. I enjoy creating products at the hardware / software interface that create significant value. I completed a Master's degree at ETH Zurich in Robotics, Systems, and Controls where I focused on control systems, machine learning, and computer vision. Prior to that, I did my Bachelor's at the University of Texas at Dallas in Electrical Engineering while running my own tech startup.
In my freetime, I enjoy playing jazz piano, team sports (basketball, volleyball, Ultimate), and being in the outdoors (backpacking, rock climbing, skiing, mountain biking). I am an avid traveler and have lived in (+3 months) 10 different cities around the world.
Some of my favorite projects were the automated hair clipper, the automated sleep support, the feedback mechanisms for real-walking virtual reality, and the harmonic radar system for tracking juvenile wood frogs. Read more about them on this portfolio site, and please don't hesitate to reach out for any additional details or questions.
