Buskr - App for Street Musicians
HackJunction Helsinki Fall 2015
Buskr was a hackathon project during HackJunction 2015 in Helsinki. Our team created a tool using the MixRadio API, Klarna API (payment), Google Maps API, and an Estimote bluetooth beacon. The app allows pedestrians to pay nearby street musicians by using proximity detection. Additionally, it shows users where street musicians are located around the city in real time. Finally, it tracks the musicians that you have tipped and gives you music suggestions and purchase options for similar music.
